Topic: Impact of disruptive technologies on changes in the business environment

The aim of the study is to analyse the impact of disruptive technologies on changes in the business environment. Disruptive technologies are strongly changing forms of business (services, design, operations, production systems through processes, etc.) and are influenced by the increasing exposure of the business sector to the constant social and technological changes in the environment. The question is how disruptive technologies are changing the established business environment and stimulating business changes in the complex cross - "social interactions of the cyber community". The aim of conceptual research of the literature review and business cases is to define the changed strategy in the overall environment, I. E. hard areas - infrastructure, services, production, transport, mobility and natural resources; and soft areas: culture, social inclusion and the economy - prosperity and added value for all those involved.

Topic: Digital transformation of tourism: Leaders and followers

Tourism is going through great transformation as a result of advances in information technologies and processes of digitalisation. Travelling today is more affordable and more accessible than ever before. Digitalisation has left no segment of the travel ecosystem untouched. Tourism consumption and experiences are increasingly mediated by the use of smart devices which enable smart booking, smart advice and navigation, smart destinations and marketing, as well as smart hotels. Hospitality firms use ICT as a way to cope with an environment characterized by globalization, competition, high client turnover and rising guest expectations. In order to benfit from this process, it is necessary to create new models of product development, new business practices and ecosystems, new approaches to supporting and building capacity in tourism as well as new approaches to tourism education.
