Join us at the Creativity & Innovation Workshop!

A unique dialogue between scholars of different disciplines: a psychologist, a historian and an economist

What?

Creativity & Innovation Workshop will take place in Dubrovnik, 7-9 September, as one of the leading events of the ENTERNOVA conference.

Why?

Creativity and innovation are fundamental in art, science and business, that give humans this unique power to change their life and their environment. However, it took a very long time before humankind was able to express itself through arts, and even longer to invent scientific knowledge and technological goods, and not all human communities use them.

Number of questions emerge related to the creativity and innovation. Why do human beings create? Why do they feel the need to create? Is creativity a biological or a cultural trait of humans, or both? Is creativity a form of human language? What are the (psychological, economic, social …) incentives of creativity? When did humans realize the power of their creativity? Are there any cultural and social conditions leading humans to use their creative abilities? Why are some countries more innovative than others?

Who?

In order to shed some light to these urging questions, a multidisciplinary approach is needed. The workshop is organized as a dialogue between scholars of different disciplines: a psychologist, a historian and an economist.
